Safely back in Cornwall. Great to meet such wonderful people: Kerren, Mrs C, RR, Toby Kibble, Jude and her daughter Saz. Well worth 785 miles - even if I didn't have meetings to attend in the Midlands and a son to return to CH!

Well actually, Dave, it was very nice to meet you, too... and I look forward to working with you in the future, on 'CHA 'Events'!
That little meeting in the Bax which started with RR and me thinking about CHA Events and which then moved on to wider things when Toby and then you and Janet joined us, was quite momentous!
And Willow was pleased to meet all four other members of the Forum and asks how soon she can repeat it?
Dave, your journeying over the 48 hours since late on Sunday nigvht sounded horrific but I am very pleased that clearly you have reached home again intact. Hope to see you again a week on Saturday.
Kerren

.... and even then, they can only do it with assistance from Cornwall.

Well, we'll see how many show up on the 27th.

Speech Day drinks, anyone?

Met J.R. and Mrs. J.R. for a lunchtime drink yesterday - finished after 5.00 p.m.

Every time we tried to leave the pub it started raining very hard, so we had to stay in the dry!

She doesn't!

I'm off to Brussels to sample some beers...

I think we may be doing something in the Ardennes...

Looking for lost tanks ? Chasing wild boar in your undies? Reinventing la Bête du Gévaudan?

Whatever you do in th'Ardennes
Might better be done in the fens
For I think that your bride
Might rather decide
That going abroad makes no sens.

She might indeed wonder what you are doing out there - all those rosy cheeked mountain lasses with their French kissing and all ..........
