You get a different high

If you can manage to stay awake, you get drunk with the alcohol and woozy with the sleeping stuff and the combined effect is to some idiots pleasant

I would put it on a par with glue sniffing which is also dangerous and wins you the respect of nobody who has a brain in their head

I always like a glass of wine with a meal and when I have a cold (like now!) I take a night-cap before the Night Nurse. Never had any problems with getting to sleep after that.

Ok sconie - what are you referring to here??? beady eyes???

I drank ½bottle of white last night - daughter had the other half - but it doesn't work like the spirits does.... so I will sneak a dose of Malibu or whatever it is we have into some OJ before bed - She's out partyinging again... her brain and liver have already left and are on "holiday in Barbados" - it is apparently a very expensive way to learn that snails pooh on their heads - the sum of her education so far..... it seems that the intestinal track of a snail goes around inside the shell and the anus ends up on the top of a snails head - I kid you not - if ye should doubt - then go look it up!

I'm off to play with Indie, and try some more red wine - see if it gets rid of the current headache - although I have to be careful as I have to take daughter back to Leeds tomorrow - she can't change train 3 times carrying a VDU, her (now clean and ironed) washing in a bag, her notes (supposed to have been written up by Monday am) and speakers and head set for her new pc..... - well so she says - and VDU's are heavy ( we are talking about the big b88gers that take up most of a desk!)

I was responding to a post about how a rat gets in and out of houses. In this case via the toilet bowl

I would need hospitalisation if a rat peered out of my loo........ Goodness knows what I would do, but the result would be in my mind spectacular - both for the rearing peering rat and myself....
