I've Never Shot Anything - But -
Suddenly remembered that I must register. Have just got time!
I'm tempted, really tempted to attempt the clay pigeon shooting. Is it very difficult? Can someone who has never shot anything do it? Or will it be supervised by a kind tolerant marksperson?

Julian's the expert on this, so I'm sure he can tell you more about it.Angela Woodford wrote:Suddenly remembered that I must register. Have just got time!

I'm sure a tolerant (and safety-conscious) person will be on hand. I've never tried it, but will probably give it a go.

I must register as well...
but a word of warning... are any of those that are organising the day aware of the Camp in Shelley wood on the Saturday night? There will be a number of Old Blues there...
I also do not think that many of my contemporaries or those who are younger will register...

We should have registered by 16th May! I was late and I tI have an extra guest who will be coming. Poor Wendy - she is always having to cope with the dilatoriness of some of us.Great Plum wrote:I must register as well...

No one will be turned away.
It is helpful for the school's admin to know how many people are coming and I believe we should do our best not to overload car parking, tours, events etc etc without giving the school prior notice.
Of course, anyone who, for some reason, does not want to let the school know an idea of numbers will, as you say, just turn up.
I think it would be polite for as many of us as possible to let the CHA office know that we are coming to support the day.

I would be very surprised if they were turned away, however we should encourage everyone who's planning to go to register, as this will help the CHA office plan food/drinks etc. and ensure activities can cope with the numbers etc.

Poor Mrs. Plum !
I told Zoe in an e-mail that I'd be attending. Suppose I'd better tell her it'll include a wife and daughter and possibly a couple of Grand-Kids !
Incidently, does anyone know if the proposed OB's Association Football Club died a natural death ? I have a valid reason for asking.
