CH roads themselves aren`t wonderful at the moment but ok if you take it slowly. Roads around are ok/fine - the biggest problem being at the Boar`s Head where million of cars are parked for toboganning inthe field opposite!

Photos are on my FB page - not sure how to post a link!

Fab photos! Thanks for posting them.
Here's hoping school can open on Tuesday. I'm enjoying the extra day with my son though!

More important, I hope that the authorities postpone the exams otherwise many pupils countrywide will be disadvantaged. From what I have seen the boards are being stupid about the situation saying that the exams will go ahead whatever.

To expect pupils to risk life and limb in such conditions is a tax on the taxpayer

The exams that are happening this week will be repeated in the summer series. The exam boards can't really cancel them as plenty of schools are funcitoning and plenty of students are ready to sit. Those that miss out this week due to the weather won't be disadvantaged....they will sit them in the summer.

The CH photos are better than the Christmas Card of "Winter Fun"

You could, perhaps, sell the copyright to the CHA or CHOBA or whatever it will be, in a year's time !

To be fair, a lot of children will be disadvantaged if they don't take them now because of the weather. A lot of work goes into preparing for the exams and all the revision already done is wasted. Furthermore, any exams not taken now will have to be taken in the summer with the next lot so there will be twice the amount of work to do then.

(PS: I have a History AS Level on Thursday and would be VERY happy to have it postponed  )!!

Well - I'm getting a bit worried as according to the latest Met Office forecast it's supposed to start snowing tomorrow afternoon. By 6pm in Horsham it's forecast to be heavy snow, 21mph winds and very poor visibility.... my car won't survive a 2 hour journey in that!

at the bottom of the album page, there's a "public" link - copy & paste that into here and then ANYONE can access that album...
