He also has a very good sense of humour :D - if slightly odd...

Plus, he's an Old Blue himself, making Matt (G.P.) a second Generation OB!!!

That's cool in my book...

Based on what I've already seen, an "odd sense of humour' is nothing out of the ordinary, and certainly not by CH's tendency towards the eccentric :P

But I am not saying that your all mad as hatters, on the contrary you appear to be a fairly logical bunch :D
Second Generation OBs, does this happen often?

I think it does - my family runs to three generations, I am sure we are not unique! My father and my aunt, then my brother and myself and the latest was my niece who was in the generation that moved from Hertford to Horsham at the merger.

Interestingly my aunt, my niece and I were all in the same house at Hertford, but my father was in Mid B and my brother in Thornton B.

Pan
It does happen - there was a girl on my year, Pip Gwyn who was taught by Dad on her squits. At the Parents evening, he met her father, Dominic Gwyn who was at CH at the same time as Dad and they hadn't seen each other for 20 years!

Wow, that's a very long gap, so much catching up to do.
massively surprised by the effectiveness of internet communication for old blues. My school doesn't have so much as a newsletter for old pupils.
Even Lily Cole denies she ever went there

Apologies if famous woman of intellect . I should know...
