I see. I don't think I'll have him as my teacher if I get in, I'm a little too old. lol
It's great they're so involved with school life, you can see it just makes me want to join more

Re: Waiting Lists and Deputy Grecians
He also has a very good sense of humour
- if slightly odd...
Plus, he's an Old Blue himself, making Matt (G.P.) a second Generation OB!!!
That's cool in my book...

Based on what I've already seen, an "odd sense of humour' is nothing out of the ordinary, and certainly not by CH's tendency towards the eccentric
But I am not saying that your all mad as hatters, on the contrary you appear to be a fairly logical bunch
Second Generation OBs, does this happen often?

Re: Waiting Lists and Deputy Grecians
I think it does - my family runs to three generations, I am sure we are not unique! My father and my aunt, then my brother and myself and the latest was my niece who was in the generation that moved from Hertford to Horsham at the merger.Lightbulbbroken wrote: Second Generation OBs, does this happen often?
Interestingly my aunt, my niece and I were all in the same house at Hertford, but my father was in Mid B and my brother in Thornton B.

well it doesn't look like there's much chance now so, I shan't worry about that. Might be a good idea to pass all this info onto Urgh My Pancreas

Re: Waiting Lists and Deputy Grecians
It does happen - there was a girl on my year, Pip Gwyn who was taught by Dad on her squits. At the Parents evening, he met her father, Dominic Gwyn who was at CH at the same time as Dad and they hadn't seen each other for 20 years!Lightbulbbroken wrote:Based on what I've already seen, an "odd sense of humour' is nothing out of the ordinary, and certainly not by CH's tendency towards the eccentric![]()

Wow, that's a very long gap, so much catching up to do.Great Plum wrote: It does happen - there was a girl on my year, Pip Gwyn who was taught by Dad on her squits. massively surprised by the effectiveness of internet communication for old blues. My school doesn't have so much as a newsletter for old pupils.
Even Lily Cole denies she ever went there
