me also - I am taking it in turns to try out various beverages - David sent me some varieties of beverages in alcoholic %...... most interesting - although I suspect that should I try any of those above the rating of 40% I will not be able to get up the stairs let alone into bed, and will wake up somewhere between the kitchen, livingroom, hall, stairs, landing, ensuite and my bed....... the possibilities are endless!englishangel wrote:I think it is about time I got one.

just got one - 10 litres of Domaine de Matibat (or rather what SWMBO has left). Don't normally get boxes but it is convenient not to have to finish a complete bottle every night.
Can't drink too much - I have to go out tomorrow and, as Captain Oates said, "I may be gone a little while" like 10 - 15 days. Just try to behave whilst my back is turned.

The cure for a cold is to drink warm lemon juice with brandy until you can see four posts at the foot of your bed. You start the drinking when you are already in bed - there is not so far to fall.
Oh, I mentioned sake but why not brandy that way? It shouldn't be ice cold in any case.

I like sake on the very warm side! But it's not the average beverage found in Trashco's here in the sticks!
I hate brandy - unless I am in extreme pain and smoking cannabis which helps with the pain but I haven't had any for about 8 years
Yes I have tried drinking in bed - but I am afraid the cats will get to it before me! Or that I fall asleep without it and think in the morning - ooh OJ yum yum........ and then realise it's OJ+ .... and I need to drive....
