Yes indeed. Most choir and band members are encouraged to have two coats in order that a good one may be worn for special occasions. However, from experience, Button Grecians do NOT get two coats.....sods...

That would make sense of the amount of time Chris Humphries used to spend brushing his coat in his study and why he taught me some new swear words when someone split ketchup all over it.

Going back to the original point in this thread, I am sure we were issued anew coat eact year which became your best coat and the former best coat became the everyday coat.
