Yes, the one closest to the scout hut - the dark room was in the same building...

Never found that dark room. Fond memories (nothing rude!) of the dark room at the back of Mr Jones' physics lab in the New South.

New South Block was the History/Geography classes attached to the theatre...

Mr Jones' physics lab was in the New Science School!

Oh I'm such a pedant...

Yeah, ok, good point. New Science. That's what I meant.

A-level physics experiment. Had to be conducted in the dark (measuring the radiation given off by gases blah blah blah..). So did Alex's experiment (measuring accelerlation of something?).

So for some reason we were allowed to work in there together. Actually, we spent most of the time in his study in Ma A, drinking coffee. He had a proper coffee machine. Can't believe Mr J never checked up to see if we were there/not doing things we shouldn't. He must have been suspicious of the coffee smells when we brought coffee back to the dark room along with packets and packets of custard cr*ps. What a laugh!

i always thought there would be at least a few people a year who would keep this going. I did it myself for afew terms, great fun and far more punctuall than the actuall train service.

Anyway as to the stock in the shed. Theres the clock, the name plate. The line, compleate with working points. and at least 50 locomotives and carrages apart from that things may have changed since I was in control of CH station

Are you sure you ran the CH station? I thought Muzi Noor was overall Station Master, and was overseeing the expansion of the Victoria - Bognor service before unfortunate cutbacks ensued.
