We went to find his grave last year.

It was a trip worthy of the Goons as it was pouring with rain and we lost shoes in the mud, fell over and all sorts.

It was almost as if someone didn't want it found, but we persevered.

... and what a BRILLIANT epitaph !

If I wasn't going to be cremated, I'd have it on mine !!

Sir Spike was a great man on and off the stage.

He had a great sense of compassion as I discovered in correspondence with him some years ago.

Incidentally I used to live about half-a-mile from Spike that was why we went to look for his grave.
