I am afraid not, Chinese take aways in UK are nearly all from Hong Kong and therefore the staff only speak Cantonese!

there should also be more spanish teaching available, unless its changed since i was there of course

I don't think Spanish has been taught at CH recently apart from some part time Spanish lessons...

During the academic year 2003-2004, I had part-time lessons with Ms. L'Arrivee who left that year. Seeing as I had just returned from Central America, where I had been living for the past three years, I didnt have a problem getting an A* at the end of the year - I don't know how the other 10 candidates did. I never went to the lessons except to do the necessary coursework and oral presentations.

There is only one person currently doing Spanish of any kind, and she is only doing a AS. I have to say, I turned it down because I suspected I would not be able to do it without adequate teacher support (of which there is none now.)

It is a shame, as Spanish is the 3rd most widely spoken language in the world....

what happened to AMW teaching spanish?
