Live there half the year on a farm; the house is about 200 years old with wooden beams, tiled floor etc (not forgetting the swimming pool with up to 13 hours sun)

Sure is, sis. 750 miles. Do it twice a year and this time was one of the worst; heavy rain at both ends, longer stops than usual, a hole in the exhaust was noisy, points failure on the Chunnel ..... 16 hours instead of 12 - 13. (that is to Essex)
