did you see on the news today about an Israeli woman tourist in NZ who got so fed up with the wolf whistles of builders that she stripped off in front of them before using an ATM and calmly got dressed again afterwards. The Police told her that ladies in NZ do not behave like that.......

anyone read Mary Hoffman, and her 'City of....' series, for teenagers? I can recommend the books even if you are not a teenager. 'City of Masks' is set in Venice - the author is the younger sister of a (very proud....) Old Blue
