As I understand it, and I may be wrong,
IF found Guilty, the Judge will pass sentence which would be added to the sentence he is already serving,
LESS any time he has served awaiting trial. I guess the sentences would then run concurrently, as is the norm these days.
I didn’t think he had been sentenced for the 2018 convictions, isn’t he due to be sentenced after this trial? Either for both if he’s found guilty this time, or just for last year’s convictions if there’s a not guilty verdict.
My apologies. Just read back through the trial notes. He has been found guilty, but not sentenced for the earlier offences, so again, IF found guilty, he will be sentenced, but the time he has served, technically remanded awaiting sentence would be deducted from sentence handed down.

The Jury are deliberating!
The case is not concluded
I would recommend deleting this morning's posts
My tame '
Legal Eagle' has advised me, thus.........
"Jury is in retirement without access to the internet. Deletions not yet necessary.
This may change if No Verdict is reached today".

The jury are aware of the prev convictions, if that helps calm any concern in this area.

Many thanks Jane.
We weren't
too sure how much the Jury had been told.
(ps. I have sent you a PM to your inbox.)

Seems that the Trial has resumed at 14.09 - whether that means the Jury have come to a decision or not remains to be seen.

My bad. Apologies! And I thought I was treading so carefully too. Delete anything I've written that needs to be removed. And I'll log off so I can't post anything!

Jury re-retired at 14:26.
They may have had a question for the Judge after lunch.
I'm now told it was a note for the Judge.

On lawpages it states that it is adjourned until 00:00, so their either going to have a midnight feast and carry on discussing or the timing is wrong.

There are now two trials at Hove Crown showing 'Adjourned until 00:00'.
Seems early for adjournments until tomorrow.
Dobbies case might have something to do with the note to the Judge.
