I don't know what the legal term is but the lay term may well be "justified"englishangel wrote:Sean, get a little punching bag or cushion for when teenage daughter plays up.
I have one like that. she had a bamboo cane for something and she wound me up so tight I broke it acroos my knee, when she asked why I told her it was the cane or her neck.
She also went off on one last night. After work I had taken one son to evening class (10 miles each way) collected another from a friend's (3 miles each way) taken daughter to drama class (4 1/2 miles each way) collected first son from evening class (10 miles each way again, he was supposed to ask the lecturer who lives round the corner if he could car share but had got sidetracked by a beautiful Moroccan girl who is teaching him Arabic!!!) went to pick up daughter from drama (4 1/2 miles each way) and because her brothers were in the car she refused to get in and took off marching up the road. I kerb-crawled after her for about 1/2 mile but it was getting dangerous so I drove off (first son and I had not eaten and it was after 10 o'clock by now). Dropped sons at home and returned for daughter (3 miles each way,she is a fast walker) she got in the car with no comment.
What is murder of a daughter called?

You're getting there Sean, next time (if there is a next time) you won't reach for the cigarette.Katharine wrote:
I was recently sent one of those Internet thingies on Stress Management, it amounted to imagining yourself in a very secret place beside clear water, listen to the birds and the water. The water is so clear that you can see the face of the person you are holding under water - you should be smiling by now!! [/quote]
That's what I am going to try Ruth

silliness is generally to be encouraged.Richard Ruck wrote:Glad to hear it!soc wrote:Could very well be Richard, for some reason I have woken up in an extremely silly mood today.
I however have woken up with really bad tonsilitus (too much drunken chain smoking on Fri, I think) and am therefore not happy.
