They were all perfect adverts for why I think all 'New Money' people are pompous prats !!!

If it had occured at our local quiet country watering hole, which Mr Plum must know, (7 Stars, Leigh), they would have been told to Eff Off in short time !

Did you know that when Andre Previn was married to Mia Farrow, he and H.R.H. Princess Margaret were often in there ?

Shows what a good pub it is !

Remember being there many years ago one lunchtime. Only about 3 of us in the bar. Door opens, and two well suited and booted guys walk in - Look round and walk back out. 2 minutes later H.R.H. and Andre walk in.

She had a really filthy laugh !

To answer Sean first, no way Jose, no way. I know the vignerone who treads the grapes (not good for the blood pressure when you are up at the top of a 12 foot vat with a young lady dressed like that) and never had a hangover from her wine.

As for Ruth; it's a long way from the Pyrenees back to the smog, rain, wind, nosey politicos, persons if questionable intent who want to hide their faces. muggers let off for £100 donation to the coppers' beer bill ......... and I was knackered last night - 800 miles straight off after closing down the farm.

Had to go to the quack and get some revitaliser pills this afternoon. That other stuff does not fortify the over forties enough (if at all)
