"Housey" - November 2008.

Anything that doesn't fit anywhere else, but that's still CH related.

I went to Hertford on a double scholarship - one from West Sussex, the other from my 11+, I went to London, talked, waited, saw some people, can't really remember much of that event. I ended up chosing Hertford purely because it was as far away from home as I could possibly get - I had offers from a schools in Reading, Bristol et al, but the final point of acceptance was up to me!!

An unhappy home life made CH a get away, but even then there were all sorts to contend with. But at the end of the day I have had a damn good education, my son was at CH for 3 years, and I have lost the plot of what I was going to say! (another senior moment!)

I have to say honestly that if I had had to chose between CH or Home I would have probably said CH, as by then I had worked out the rules and had calmed down...

I have here my leather bound bible, July 1980 - owow....

As for the magazines I still don't get any - unless of course it is my house elves at the post again.... they are terrible, I find the milk in a cupboard and the fruit (banana) in the fridge! More info please! What does it say? Or can someone tell whoever it is I need to tell - I want the OB, CHOGA, Housey, or whatever! I am thinking! (OMG don't all fall over at once! :P

All you need to do is ring Wendy in the CHA Office (http://www.chassociation.org/contacts/), and she can update your records. Easier to ring than email, as you'll have to briefly confirm your details with her, and I don't know what info she needs in order to confirm it's you! Should be a very quick call though...

Once right on the database, you should get free copies of "The Old Blue" and "Housey!".
You can also ask her to add you to the email newsletter if you wish...this is monthly, sent from the CHA office.
