OB in Observer

Post by MKM »

In last week's (18th March 2007) Observer magazine, page 10, there is an article about Judy Evans, who (if I remember correctly) left CH in 1970. I think she was in 6's, but maye it was 7's.

Judy Evans

Very much enjoyed reading the Judy Evans article!

I always remember how brilliant she and Rosalynde Bush were when it was time for needlework to go in. They'd stay up with us all night on the landing if necessary, encouraging and helping. We always did finish by dawn. Judy was a super competent person - obviously still is!

Now I know who to seek out for my facelift!

Judy has had a couple of run-ins with authority I believe, and now has lost her husband, she is obviously a great person.

Unfortunately there is another Judith Evans who is also a plastic surgeon but of the rather more 'celebrity' variety. she has even appeared on "The Wakest link."

Thanks Mary Mc. for that........but I am a bit surprised you didn't remember Judy was in Sixes.I guess because her sister was in Sevens.

Judy was fun and not really the typical "doctor" type (which Deborah Bowers...same year ,same house.... was). She studied at Oxford (where I visited her once) and I'm not surprised she's a plastic surgeon. I thought the same as Munch........track her down one day (Plymouth is not too far from me actually!) when a face lift becomes due

Absolutely, Alex!

Suppose we broker a two-for-the price-of-one deal, cash of course? So long as there's no risk of you getting a bit of my chubby cheeks grafted on...

It seems a brilliant career for Judy. So busy and competent, with the ability of getting needlework done on time!

Love, Munch
