Regarding sportswear, I'm off to the thrift shop next week, but just wanted to check that I won't be singling my son out by buying the 'old' brand of sports kit, I understand it's still ok for the children to wear it. Can't wait to come up for New Entrants Day :D Glad all has gone well...... enjoy ...

Caroline - No the Household Cavalry horses are not desensitised to noise etc on the same way as the police ones....hence why you see them jumping round the place quite regularly. When I worked in central London (a lifetime ago) it was amasing to see the horses being ridden, quite fast with a trooper...

Katie....I have no knowledge personally but I have found the Corporation staff really helpful if you ring them and speak to them first on different matters. They usually chat quite nicely and off the record - you may find this approach helpful!
