Re: Ajaz Karim on trial at Hove Crown Court

Here is the appeal. He remained in custody but reduced from 21 to 15 months. He will be getting out around now if he isn’t already.

The appeal notes he had a number of references. I wonder who ...

Re: Ajaz Karim on trial at Hove Crown Court

How unfortunate. If he wanted to reduce his prison time he could have asked for other offences to be taken into consideration and pleaded guilty at the first trial

Does anyone have a link to the Court of Appeal judgment

Re: Ajaz Karim on trial at Hove Crown Court

My thoughts are solely with his victim.

Back inside he goes. He attended for a voluntary interview so that may explain the lack of a custody photo, although maybe the press will attend for his sentencing. He had aged really badly I thought even back in 2018.

Not a great response from the school ...

Those released under licence

I understand Gary Dobbie has been released from prison, I assume under licence. I doubt he is notorious enough for the press to take his photo or publicise his current whereabouts but you never know

Re: A Victims/Survivor event

Hi Robert
I guess I would throw into the mix that older pupils, until they are 18 years old, are legally children

I would personally find it helpful to understand more about what is meant by “a line in the sand”

Thank you

John Ditcham

Greetings all

I wonder if anyone knows the current whereabouts and occupation of a John Ditcham who used to work at CH, teaching German and some French in the late 1990s. He lived in Peele although then moved out to an address in Horsham. I believe he later stopped teaching children and went to ...

Richard Poulton has died

This is sad news and my condolences to the loved ones of anyone who has died including Poulton’s, although I note he has now gone to his grave without ever explaining, or being asked to explain or being held to account for the regime of criminality he oversaw. The school don’t seem to have attempted ...

Bishbashbosh wrote: Wed Feb 26, 2020 12:45 am Been some time since I was on here, even as a lurker.

Dobbie tried to appeal to reduce his sentence from 12 to 10 years. This was refused. Still July 2024.

I don't know anything about any others.
Does anyone have a copy of the judgment in relation to his failed appeal?

Re: Burr released

It’s of concern if he was released with a Parole Board hearing if that was a requirement , might if he worth following this up with them or with Probation?
