as they say everything happens for a reason the 3 other people I know who's dec went for the exam never got they either it would just be helpful if they have feedback so you can work on it for the next exams etc good luck to everyone sitting in jan , didn't make any plans for new year as thought we'...

Yes we are going for reeds boys in cobham as well I've got a parental interview next month so guess I'm going to have to dazzle them.

Lets hope Howard will be along soon , if its a case that there were 300 boys they took 100 you didn't make it then i guess that's how the cookie crumbles . also noted there was no recommendation regarding king Edwards which I believe there was last year ?. am wondering if its because we would have needed a large bursary ie 70% minimum maybe they are putting a cap on large awards ?. will send an email don't expect to get much out of it would be helpful if they indicated something anything ie done great in the test but unable to award bursary that big o...

We didn't make it , am gutted am wondering if its anything to so with bursary or he totally messed it up , his working at level 6 maths am wondering if it is worth appealing ? help am devastated don't know how to tell him as was certain he'd get thru the first phase maybe he was too confident ?

My ds sat the test at fulham prep today and before they were let out of the building one of the admission staff came out and said that as parents we need to be sure that this was right for your child as apparently one child had a breakdown during the test and refused to do it , so there was baited b...

Am guessing that its due to the credit crunch plus they are already contributing towards current pupils so are unable to take anymore. Oh well can't be helped can still be presented but it doesn't have any financial value

Bursary offer doesn't go out til may !!???? I didn't know that , I thought the bursary info goes out with the offer of a place ? Am also applying to 2 other schools with bursaries so what happens if I get an offer from them then have to pay a registration / deposit ? this could get very expensive . ...
