A rather different character from Brigadier David Allfrey but not, if I recall correctly, a Scot. If I am correct, this would make it the first time a non-Scot has taken charge of the tattoo - they won't like that!

During his (and my) time at CH his family were living on Hayling Island, I also don't recall any Scottish connection.
