IICSA are publish their report into Peter Ball
The Inquiry will publish the investigation report, Anglican Church Case Studies: the Diocese of Chichester and the response to allegations against Peter Ball at midday on Thursday 9 May 2019.
As part of the Anglican Church investigation, four weeks of public hearings were held for the Diocese of Chichester and Peter Ball case studies across March and July last year.
The Chichester case study examined the institutional response to allegations of child sexual abuse associated with the Diocese of Chichester, as well as the appropriateness of its child protection and safeguarding practices as part of the Anglican Church.
The Peter Ball case study considered the response to allegations against Peter Ball, former Bishop of Lewes and Gloucester, a high profile figure within the Church of England.
