I've just looked at the School News and seen the picture of the Band in the rain on Saturday.

Certainly not in my day.
In fact, the band didn't gererally play in the rain. Old type drum skins couldn't tolerate it if memory serves.
They're probably some type of 'new' type plastic these days.
