Some horse pay to add to the above. I assume a moderator / administrator created ythis new thread, I didn't, at least not intentionally!

Sorry Bob. It seemed that you had started a general photo thread. No problem with that, but I thought it better to move to the PHOTO'S Section.

If you want me to re-name the thread with your photo's, I will willingly do so, though me and 'Er Indoors are off for a few days break at the seaside first thing tomorrow !

No problem, its actually a good idea rather than being buried away in an unrelated thread. I just wondered if I had inadvertently done something I shouldn't have.

Thanks for the flashback, Bob - don't remember seeing any of those before. Interesting how many photos seem to involve some form of violence!

I thought I had posted these others as well, maybe I had a senior moment, but Phil, I think you will particularly enjoy some of these:-

Did Ken Brown marry Rosie Pattinson Hertford 5s? I think this must be right from the dates. They would have met at St Matthew's Day in 1976 I think. Rosie was in my house .

Indeed. I was chatting to your dad on old blues day, though he was rather distracted at the time due to a failure of the electronic scoreboard at the cricket pavilion. He was senior monitor 68/69 and he hasn't changed much since then, one of the good guys. Happy days. I have put up the summer '69 Maine A photo on the Maine photos thread.

You ask if it's Gareth Balle in picture 3 - I'm not sure, but it is definitely Andrew Fort who is in the headlock.

I remember going to tea with Howard Holdsworth and his family at their home before I started at CH - the visit was arranged by my primary school head to give me the chance to ask Howard what CH was like. I remember him looming large over my small 11 year old self. I am very grateful for the kindness that Howard and his parents showed me back then.
