I spent my time between a Levels and leaving Hertford reading Barbara Cartland, a wonderful antidote to Biology, chemistry and Physics.

I don't think I have read one since.

I am with Jude on the throwing books out. We have Beano annuals going back to 1974 (when I gave my husband one our first Christmas).

Likewise. Once a book's here it's here to stay.

Which reminds me, I must get around to cataloguing them one day. I suppose an Excel file would do the trick.

Read a Jackie Collins the other day, just for the experience, you understand. About as erotic as a limp salad. Think I'll stick to the, 'Sent in a Plain Brown Wrapper' variety !
Does that mean they are off the top shelf? or that they come from Amazon.com????

Could you tell us what (or who) you were stroking? I couldn't possibly comment on the fact that you came second ...
Summat you girls didn't suffer - reception of the ancient order of the cane and slipper. As for the other type of stroking, one boy tried it once - he didn't try it on me again!
