All I know for sure is that it would require extradition. I had heard rumours of Thailand, but that’s all it was - rumours.
Re my case - yes I guess you’re right - do I want to cause more aggro for the school - not really - I’ve got a lot to be thankful for from CH, I’d be selling drugs in Hastings now if I hadn’t gone there, as it is I’m running ac£20m award winning hotel, and I am an example of social mobility through education. (I’d probably be better off however - but that’s another argument !)

Do I want to get McCall - for me, no. No harm was done - if I need to help someone else - I’m more than willing

Golfer wrote: Sat Sep 15, 2018 5:46 pm I had to smile when I heard that at an Old Blues' Golf meeting that ERM had teamed up with Ken Grimshaw in setting up a school in the Far East. It might be true but you could knock me down with a feather if it was....

Ask Grimshaw - he has attended two recent Founder's Day dinners in Bangkok (quick Google search).

I found this in the Southeast Asian Ceramics Museum Newsletter. (Could be a publication on Have I Got News For You)

http://museum.bu.ac.th/Newsletter/SEACM_V3_no4.pdf

It's from summer 2006, so the real McCall would be 61 or 62.

A man named Richard McCall is photographed in the bottom-left picture on page 1, wearing a light-coloured t-shirt holding a ceramic item.

But I know Richard is only his middle name, so I appreciate very unlikely. Feel free to delete once ascertained it isn't him.

On 'MO'

Otter, yes it looks like McCall.
If anyone is looking for him via Ken Grimshaw, there are some potential schools mentioned here: https://www.learnpick.com/thailand/writ ... tutor/3038

Otter - good detective work!

Who'd've thought it. The Southeast Asian Ceramics Museum ĺNewsletter...

Definitely McCall...

it's worth people making a few good quality copies of this document just in case it should suddenly disappear from the internet for any reason.

If it is him, how surprising that he should suddenly start using his middle name at a ripe old age!

It seems highly likely that his name has been mentioned in the course of investigations, so I would have thought so JR.

I imagine one of the many difficulties for authorities looking to locate and speak to people in this way would be to inquire as to their whereabouts without them being tipped off and running/changing identity.
