Re: Scientific Publishing Work Experience
I have a niece who has just got 3 As in science A level and is taking a *forced gap year, she lives in Essex so good access to London, where is the job?
*she was predicted a B for Biology and didn't get a place at med school. In the event she got extremely high marks in every module.

The Job is in Camden, London and would just be work experience for a week or two weeks. I have e-mailed my contact internally to check the details and will get back to you.
Re: Scientific Publishing Work Experience
Just checked and work experience would be fine. It would be within the editorial department but my colleague wanted to stress that there would not be very many opporunities for writing editorial for the journal, but they would get to see how the editorial process worked on a scientific weekly basis. I have another friend who did this work experience last year and enjoyed it. It is up to your niece whether she wants to have 1 or 2 weeks of unpaid work experience. All I need is an idea of dates and her name and contact details. If you can send me your e-mail address I will be in contact to arrange the details.
