Worth clearing out your internet cache. The "last read" think uses a cookie I think, so might be something going on with that? You'll have to re-login though when you return to the forum for the first time, as it'll lose your login info...

It also could have been due to people stealing things from a major ISP in Canary wharf; seems to have meant that a lot of sites (including some I host for work) have been slow, but still accessible, in rather odd ways.

To delete a cookie
