I don't think I'm very "with it" at the moment (must be the nasty cold) but I don't get this - why does being designed by BW mean they'd be uncomfortable?DavebytheSea wrote:.... must have made them damn uncomfortable to work in.Ruthie-Baby wrote:in Col B we were told that the toyces were designed by Barnes Wallis, just like the bouncing bomb.

No offence Scone Lover, but just because he spelt it like that doesn't mean that's how it's spelt. Anyway, as a piece of verbal slang (am I still making sense? Who knows?), it's spoken not written so in my head when I say it it's "bokker" but in Scone Lover's head it's "bocker". Not sure I've ever seen it written down before.
So actually it's the complete opposite of the wold "scone". It works spoken not written whereas scone works written not spoken.
I'll stop now...

btw did you notice how Scone lover appeared at about the same time a certain other very busy poster disappeared. I am slightly suspicious they may be the same person...

well it's kind of important if you're trying to think up acromyns... but otherwise no it doesn't matterScone Lover wrote:By skipping marbles across a tub of water in the garden?
Who cares how bokker/bocker is spelled, I would just like to know where it came from.
And he/she can do what ever he/she wants on here surely. Whats with all the speculation who I may be, does it matter?
it's human nature to want to know who you are...
