Haircut, Sir!

Anything that doesn't fit anywhere else, but that's still CH related.

Well it started out about having haircuts at CH - and pegleg the barber - but now even Barber's Adagio for Strings is unlikely to calm it!

I would not have allowed anyone to cut my hair...

although the girls in Col B did sometimes...

I refused to go to the school dentist too

another scary man

my mum finally had to sign the form to say I wouldn't be going there

Mr Whiffen is lovely, well he was until he told me i had to have a wisdom tooth out, which i have had done and an survived(i have a serious fear of going under general anethestic). I have had my wisdom teeth since 15 and had 4 teeth removed for a brace how they didnt notcie 1 wisdom tooth had grown up wrong way i dont know they could have done it then! ahhhhhhhhhh feel much better now :) It is as you can see still a sore subject for me!

Anyway back to haricuts, while i was there for my 2 years i just went to hairdressers in Horsham to get it cut and stuff. I know the juniors in BaB would rather let the older ones do it than go to school haridresser or get it done at home. Though some had hair that hadnt been cut for ages.

The boys as well were uite a hairy bunch on my year group

Mr Whiffen, that's the one

there was a rumour he liked extracting teeth, we though maybe he got paid more if he extracted more, so we were scared he'd take out good ones

hence i stayed with my dentist at home

I don't think we had a school dentist while I was there. I remember Dr Hoskins and his flu research being a dead cert for two weeks in the sicker watching tv.

There was also a school orthodontist who slpped braces on people's teeth whether they needed them or not!

No idea.. .and no - I went to a dentist in Horsham...

As the Wiffens are family friends, it didn't seem right to get my teeth done by him...

Well lets face it, nobody could possibly be as bad as Pegleg.

A grecian once walked in to the barbershop, pointed at a photo on the wall and said I want the cut please. He walked out with dragon's teeth just like everyone else
