Will there be a lot of OBs present ?
Not at those 'effin prices !
I'LL STICK TO THE OFFY !

May I suggest we find a place on level ground and that does a bring your own bottle? Then I can bring my bottle of H20 as I can't have anything stronger!

I can see it now, a couple of hundred OBs pitching up in Regent's Park all stuufed with carrier bags from surrounding off-licences. All nice and rowdy as the sun goes down.

I suppose so - with all the YOB's in pubs and the OB's in the park - we could try and get the BBC to sponsor us singing!!

Come on peeps - I need timings. Hubby says I can come out to play for a bit before we go down to his sister's wedding - but it's got to fit in with the "grand plan". So.......... what's the route and what are the timings? Is the Servicea at St Andrew's on Holborn circus? Can I stand on Holborn viaduct for a good view before they presumably march up charterhouse St? Or are the coming up via Fetter Lane??????? Surely there's someone in the know out there?
I've emailed Zoe at CHA and am waiting for a response for timings...
I believe that the service could well be back at St Sephlecure (SPL??) without Newgate or it will be at St Andrew's in Holborn - just up the road. I do know that they are marching to the Mansion House and not the Guildhall this year...
And Amy, if you are silly enough to drink in overpriced wine bars then what do you expect?
We took a trip to London in the summer to see Billy Smelliot (a brilliant show btw), but was shocked at the prices for alcohol. 2 drinks on the train cost £8.50 and 2 glasses of wine at the theatre were £9. Nearly had a giddy fit. I think I've been living in Devon for too long where prices for things are normal. Considering that booze is one of the major food groups I think there is a responsibility to keep the cost down ...!

Gawd, it's absolutely ages since I've been stuufed with a carrier bag !
