Happy to advise on life at 'London's country campus'. Was there for undergrad and postgrad studies so can't have been that bad!

I know he lectures in Science Communication (he seems to have a lot of hits if you search on Google), but that's it I'm afraid. I studied History and Politics, with courses in the English Department. Quite alot to do with the Music Department too. But science and me never really did mix. The science schools at CH filled me with dread!ben ashton wrote:you ever heard of a lecturer there called Alun Lewis?

CH architect
CH was designed by Aston Webb, Royal Holloway by William Crossland. Founders is in C16th French chateau style whereas CH is in Gothic Revival style ... can you tell who studied Victorian architecture? oh dear ...

burnt toast
During my years '94-'98 in Founders it was rumoured that the insulation was still straw. The local fire station had to give RH priority over any other calls because of the potential large loss of life (and art works!). No wonder the firemen all looked so pissed off every time a student burnt a bit of toast.

Re: CH architect
Aston Webb also designed BRNC Dartmouth, now that place is a clone of CH!eloisec wrote:CH was designed by Aston Webb, Royal Holloway by William Crossland. Founders is in C16th French chateau style whereas CH is in Gothic Revival style ... can you tell who studied Victorian architecture? oh dear ...
