Roger Martin - trial

Post by LHA »

Does anyone know when this trial is taking place please?
Obviously people need to be very cautious in what is said as the proceedings are still clearly ongoing, just looking for a date etc.

Last I heard was that it listed for March.

Not heard of an actual date.

p.s. Just checked back through CH School statements.

"Roger Martin, a former teacher at the school appeared today at Lewes Crown Court. Mr Martin entered
a not guilty plea and was released on unconditional bail until his trial date on 11th March 2019 when he
will appear at Lewes Crown Court."

As I have done previously, would it be appreciated if I attend and provide a brief update where possible?

Charles@ Verisona Law
I'm not able to attend. It is possible that Richardb might, work permitting, but any updates would be apppreciated.

I'm wondering if the other o/s case will be listed for the same day ?

I wasn't advised of the reason. There are a couple of possibilities.

If I'm informed, I will post if legally possible.

To date no reason for the postponement has been advised.
Probably a 'witness availability' issue.

I guess it could be more allegations being investigated?

Or perhaps RM, at 82, is now in extremely poor health after all the pressure he's been under since last July. Or is he 83 now?

If health be the problem methinks our ancestors had the right idea. As was normal it was Oliver Cromwell's corpse which was unearthed and placed in the dock for his trial. Not too sure how they would hve carried out the second part of hung, drawn and quartered.
What happens if a politician drowns in a river? That is pollution.
What happens if all of them drown? That is solution!!!
