I think some of us will be in the Bax before the Retreat, so I hope you'll be able to pop in for a couple..........

Sadly, it look likes we're going to have to cry off AGAIN this year, due to a transportation problem.

IF I can get it resolved today, we'll all meet up !

Is it the getting from Horsham to C.H. / Bax Castle bit which is giving you problems?

Perhaps someone who is driving tomorrow may be able to help.

It all depends on youngest daughters arrangements for the weekend with her kids and partner. I'll know more around 3 o'clock this afternoon.

I'm possibly there. Maybe. So 12.30 at the Bax? Oh its the Bax, ugh we'll see.

I will remain elusive til the last minute, what a mystery!

Have a great time, all of you. Tavistock Carnival has its first event tomorrow and daughter no. 1, as Carnival Princess, is presenting the prizes for the 'Beautiful Baby' Competition in the morning. We shall have to be up at sparrow's fart to do hair and make-up. Too many gins for Mother and we'll have wobbly hair and uneven eyes.

The only other person I have heard use this expression is my husband, who is a Yorkshiremann.
