Trees down on roads around Horsham

The storm here in Horsham and district tonight is terrible. There are reports of a lot of trees down, so please be careful when collecting pupils for half term tomorrow.

We allowed extra time for our journey up from the Sussex coast, and navigated successfully through floods and fallen trees... only to find that when we arrived at CH at 10.40, both the Theatre and Stammerham access gates were still closed, with cars backed up onto the road queuing for both! I appreciate that security is an issue, but for holidays and leave weekends it would be helpful if CH allowed a reasonable window for parents to access the school grounds!
