PURPOSE/RULES:- READ BEFORE POSTING

Post by jtaylor »

What's it about?
This section has stemmed from a suggestion to the CHA Advisory board, aiming to provide an open opportunity to ask questions of the CHA board, and get direct responses, in an easy central way.

How does it work?
The section is setup so that you are able to post questions, but not reply to them - responses will be considered and responded to by the CHA board, and a response posted by one of the regular forum members from the CHA board.
NB:- This section must not become a chat section - that's what the other sections are for. Hence, anything deemed not to be a clear reasonable question will be moderated - so don't be surprised! We want to keep it clean and clear!

How quickly will the board respond?
Our aim will be to give a response to each question within 3 weeks, given the work/time commitments of the board, especially where board agreement may be required. We're hoping this will be quicker than 3 weeks for most questions - so give us a chance!

The board are busy people - what happens if the number of questions becomes huge?
If the workload generated by this section becomes excessive, then we'll have to look at it and find a better way of doing it, but let's see how it goes!

In addition, if you have an issue which you would like to raise more privately, directly with the CHA chairman, you may email chairman@chassociation.org

Steve Webb (current CHA Advisory Board Chairman) will make every attempt to also conform to the same response times and will let you know if this will take longer for any reason.

Thanks,

Julian
