No-one else was interested. 99p plus postage!
It's probably because it has been 'postally used' - whereas for me it's that which is most interesting. Who wrote it and what did they say about the school?!

Well.. that was a damp squib!
I now know the name of the person who was due to receive the card, but there is no message other than a repeat of the recipient's (?a pupil's; ?the sender's) name and address, 'if undelivered'. Ermmmmm?
(It's not a name I recognise)
And the postmark is indistinct - I can't tell when or where it was posted.
And someone has steamed off the stamp so there are watermarks on the 'name and address' side of the card.
Apart from that......
It's a 'Fun House'.....

I've been having another look at the card - it does look as if the square has the red tarmac not gravel so it must be from our time or later. The name you have given me rings the vaguest of bells - but not enough to say definitely CH, if you know what I mean.

Speaking as someone with absolutely no vested interest (other than that I lost a bet with myself that the card would say 'having a lovely time, wish you were here, love Sue' - no problem, I had to buy myself a drink), I really can't see a problem with posting the name here. It's not as if you're posting an address or telephone number. We mention people's names all the time in 'Looking for' or 'Favourite Teachers', etc. You might even get a response!

Go on, be a devil...
