I think that he was an authority on Bach; particularly his organ music.
He tried to teach me the piano, I think when I was on the UF, and I found him very pleasant.

Dore - had us Preps arranged with nightingales at one end and crows at the other. I was pretty much right marker for the crows and was told not to sing in Morning Prayers in the Prep Hall as I spoilt it for everyone else. My musical career reached its crescendo later, in a chapel rehearsal of the Messiah when I let fly an extra hallelujah after everyone else had finished.
