Ok, we're doing really well on this - we're only missing contact to and from Frances and Googie - calls out points north south east and west please!!

I think I've found Frances - she's now Frances Harland - I found her on an obscure geneology site - she married a David Harland. Think she lives in London. See what you can track down. No luck on Googie - she became Daniella (her real name). Lets keep seaching.

Well done you, will put out a google whisper to try and track Googie and will search out Frances, had a great email from Jan last week - she lives as close to me as you do to Sara, old patterns die hard eh!!

I just found this old thread and am amazed how you tracked everyone down so well. Anyone know the whereabouts of the year above you?? ie Kate Donovan, Barbara Jones, Magdalen Mothersole, Liz Biddulph etc I did find Carol Breadmore once - I think she works for the British museum - but have not heard from the others in >25 years. Would love to find them.

Helen MacNair-Smith told me over 20 years ago that Magdalen was here in Graz - I didn't move here until about 12 years ago and have never run into her. Helen is in Switzerland.
I think Jenny went to quite a few Hertford things and ran into people there - perhaps she knows more, I'll ask her.

Lynn - there was a rumour not long after we left CH that she married Baron Zessner von Spitzenburger (or some such name) at quite a young age and moved to Vienna. I believe she had a daughter a few weeks before I had my oldest son (May '83) - so she may live near you. Can you see if Zessner von Spitzenburg(er) is in the local phone book????

The last I ever heard of Kate was that she was dating someone (?Hugh?) and possibly going to Singapore - but that was probably 25 years ago now. Haven't heard a word from Barbara since we left. Last I heard from Liz Biddulph, I think she was studying to become a Midwife. What about Deirdre Palliser. What became of her??

Deirdre became a doctor and was the doctor at CH for a time, There are pictures here
