Any Kenworthys?

Post by evekenworthy »

I'm looking for anyone named Kenworthy from CH. At an Old Blue Day at school i'm sure I overheard someone refer to their friend as Kenworthy. It would be lovely to know if any other of us attended CH.

Two that I am aware of:

David M Kenworthy (Middleton A 1941-1949)

also another David whom was at CH at least part of the time I was there. I only knew him by sight as he was in different forms and houses.

I vaguely remember him being in Coleridge A. I also think he became known as Tewson - Kenworthy.

Memory could be playing tricks though.

That's what makes aging SOOOOO enjoyable, even if it does take a little longer.

I can't re-call any Kenworthy's at CH during my time .

I'm sure we had a Kenworthy at Hertford. can't remember anything about her except that I think she had red hair.

There is an elderly OB and governor living at Bluecoat Ponds named Kenworthy - possibly David Kenworthy? I may meet him on Saturday.

This was David Hope Telford Kenworthy Tewson (CA 1966-72).

He may of course have switched round the 'Kenworthy' and the 'Tewson' later.

I did!

.... and I have edited the above posting to correct his name where I had it wrong.

David Kenworthy left Mid A in 1949 and now lives at the Courtyard development at Christ's Hospital. He is a Donation Governor and takes a keen interest in the Steeplechase which he won on two occasions.

I note that he is now the newest registered member of the forum. Come on, David, just because I had the impudence to describe you as an elderly OB, doesn't mean you have to hide behind a veil of anonymity. Publish some of the racy stuff you began to tell me on Friday evening - as most of the prime figures are safely now in the great CH Club in the sky, they would now make interesting reading.

This is he who I met hale and hearty on Friday evening at CH. What is your recollection of him, Andy?

I have no personal knowledge of him David. I found his details in an Old Blue Directory so posted them in an attempt to assist the originator of this thread.

I'm sure you have the correct order of names Doctor.

I do remember him being referred to as "Kenworthy" most of the time at school though which is why I mentioned him.
