CHOBA 65+ years on reunion anyone?!

Anything that doesn't fit anywhere else, but that's still CH related.

Not sure I want to click on the link - it's going to a sendgrid.net address, so can't confirm if this is phishing or not...

There's an apology on the CHOBA site - must have been a bit of a shock to the youngest OBs! My brother and Freaky would qualify if it was timed from the year of starting at CH.

For some reason, I still clicked on your link, Julian/. I was amused to see that on the RHS the first person I needed to know was our own Great Plum - but going under his own name and with his own picture, not that Plum!

I spotted the 'deliberate mistake' straight away. Double checked it on my abacus, then opened up the link.

So - it's an automated contact by CH through their computer Unfortunately, the automated contact failed their basic math 'O 'level and wasn't allowed to re-sit and go on to 'A's'.

Still - Anything to divert attention away...............................

Can't see anything relevant on the CHOBA site. Since I haven't heard anything it has to be the date of leaving so that restricts it to 92 year olds and even older geriatrics. I wonder how many wheelchair pushers they are finding. Cynically I wonder if they are trying to get Last Will and Testaments amended.

I would be well within the 75 year period if it were date of going to CH.

Me too!

Interestingly the email was (is) in my junk which is not usually the case with CHOBA emails.

I blame the Russians.

According to Trumpton, Putin is responsible for every bit of cyber meddling these days !

Always worth checking - all sorts of stuff ends up there including important things. However nothing in my case - I'm simply not sufficiently old

Of course anything denoted by initials like CHOBA has to be one of the US Secret Service divisions (or so he thinks) and as for any reference to Christ!!!! Prime targets

Although I qualify to attend this reunion, having left in July 1953, I've not yet received anything from CHOBA.

Incidentally I'm 83, quite a long way off 9o yet.
