Another question on process - why is Karims sentencing pending pre-sentencing reports but Husbands sentencing was immediate?

Husband fell to be sentenced for a single victim 25 years ago and the judge took the view that he was not going to be assessed as a dangerous offender and so did not need a probation assessment/report.

Karim was convicted for multiple victims. He may well be "dangerous" in the legal sense and so needs a probation assessment.

The length of adjournment also suggests there may be a psychiatric report being obtained.

Nothing spoiling, he isn't going anywhere.
