My therapist says I have a preoccupation with vengeance. We’ll see about that.

The case was called into court at 11.10 today. It is likely to be the majority direction.

Re: The trial of Husband and Dobbie
Very kind of you to say so Guv.
The jury have now been back out for an hour having had the majority direction.
I am keeping an eye on google as well at the twitter accounts for the West Sussex County Times and the Argus. There do not appear to have been any verdict when the majority direction was given: I would expect the jury to have been asked at that stage if they had any verdicts.

Both found guilty on all counts. Husband will be sentenced first, Dobbie after pre-sentence reports.
Maybe a week for the former, perhaps a month for the latter.

Re: The trial of Husband and Dobbie
The press reports are silent as to whether either or both have been bailed after the guilty verdicts. They should not be as it will be lashings of porridge for both.
Can anyone clarify ?

Re: The trial of Husband and Dobbie
After being found guilty of such serious charges, the idea of them getting bail before sentencing wouldn't have a snow-balls chance in....
I doubt their barristers even considered applying.

In principle I agree John but HHJ Henson made such a mess of sentencing Burr and Webb that anything is possible.

Two more complainants (both Old Blues) have come forward during course of this trial concerning Gary Dobbie. No charges brought yet, Police investigating.
If this is accurate, perhaps we still need to be mindful of any comments on here.

I'd love to be able to vent my spleen, but will probably have to wait for several months.
