I'm sure this is a legitimate concern, Julian, but I don't think anyone HAS incited them deliberately, do you?

I would imagine that we all have enough common sense to avoid the usual things - libellous material, grossly indecent stuff, naughty pictures, personal attacks and so forth (we can go to the Christ's Hospital blog for that!).

However, we are a group of adults engaging in a bit of banter, so it's going to be pretty difficult to second-guess whomsoever may or may not be keeping a beady eye on what's being said here, particularly as even you have to date been unable to elicit a clear response on this matter from those who have been blocking the site.

I'm sure quite a few people here are holding back from their day-to-day conversational style, not least because we don't really want to upset each other, let alone anyone having a sneaky peeky.

I'm sure our true selves will be revealed after a few pints, though!

Apparently the landlord has already latched onto our impending invasion, and has had a pep talk with his staff.

He told 'em, allegedly.

"Just keep you're BAX to the wall !!!"

(Oh, where do you get 'em from, J.R., I hear you ask yerself !)

J.R., I look forward to the meeting of your sense of humour and the landlord's sense of humour...!

News on the blog front:
any attempts to reach the blog from CH computers now goes to this address: http://www.teletubbies.com/
presumably this is some attempt at humour by the IT department, commenting on the 'childish' nature of the site?

No, the Teletubbies site is the IT department's global home page. Must have been some sort of blunder.

Oh yeah, and they all bought a copy of the Crazy Frog single to play on their expensive department stereo.

And they put me on yellow card for someone else installing something on my laptop, which incidentally was harmless to everyone and everything.
