From Old Blues email news:-
Mervyn Mott (Ba B 30’s) who died on 25/03/05 after a long illness.
He was the last of three brothers all of whom (to my knowledge) were in Barnes B in the 30's. His younger brothers PE Mott and AJ Mott (grandfather of Andrew Mott (LHB / LaA / MidB 1987-94)) died in 2001 and 2002 respectively.

Merv was the last of three close brothers who were all in Barnes before the war and all of whom survived the war (just). My grandfather was the middle brother, Merv the eldest.
They always had lots of stories about the war - the best being my grandfather digging his own grave one lunchtime, but before his captors got round to shooting him the bell went for their lunch. During that lunch the local Army officer arrived, and it turned out to be Merv. he had not seen his brother for 3 years but arrived at the correct moment to save his life. (My grandfather was captured by some locals who would not believe he was not German).
All three brothers are now dead, and I shall miss them.

That's an incredible story - can make you feel confident there's a "higher purpose" out there I guess?
Sorry they've all 3 gone - they sounds like an impressive trio - hope your family are OK.
