The Telegraph report was somewhat shorter and focussed on his disappointment at not getting in to Cambridge

Re: Report in today's papers
I had no idea that CH no longer has a doctor in residence.

Re: Report in today's papers
Dr Hoskins (Col B) was the last resident doctor. He may have left in the late eighties. One of the problems of having a resident MO is that their experience is necessarily limited during their tenure.

Re: Report in today's papers
Trevor Hoskins was still there in 1990 (I know this as he stitched up my rather badly cut finger on my last night at CH after an "incident" with some broken glass - still got the scar...)
I believe that Dr Kezia Noel-Paton (Duncan from the Theatre's wife) was at some point the schoool's Doctor but I don't know if she was resident at that point.
My condolences to Matthew Leonard's family.

I believe there was also an issue of 'choice', which possibly became more acute when the girls arrived.

Re: Report in today's papers
I received my copy of The Blue today and there is a huge article about Matthew Leonard, including the address given at his funeral at CH jointly by his Housemaster and his running partner.
An interesting background, but nonetheless his tragic death is very sad, both for Matthew's peers, the rest of the school community, and his family.

My copy also arrived on Saturday, but I haven't even had a chance to look at it yet. The joys of footy management !
