CH Colours

Anything that doesn't fit anywhere else, but that's still CH related.

Posts on this topic are interesting and informative ------ but who has the power to say yes or no ?

Personally, Neill, I would suggest an e-mail to the School Office.
I guess that there are two questions:
1 Does the school issue the badges (or if not have any in stock)
2 Do enough people want them to make it worth having some made, in which case does the museum have any examples that could be copied (my badge, as in the picture above, is not that well made)

I know women who would shoot you for calling them GIRLS.

An interersting observation Maggie.

As someone who has taken over a lot of the administration for Dorking LADIES FC, it is amazing to hear the two follwing shouts from the pitch.

When the skipper is gee-ing the team up................ "Come on GIRLS !!"

When a player is about to be tackled/intercepted...... "MAN on !!" Why not "Woman on !!" or "Girl On !!"

Women can call themselves girls, you have a "girls night out" however old you are.

Thames Valley Police are on Facebook and one of the posts the other day said how well the "boys and girls" of the Force had done at something or other!
"If a man speaks, and there isn't a woman to hear him, is he still wrong?"

Probably because they ACTUALLY found their way OUT of the police station to ACTUALLY do some police work !

A different force (and at a seaside resort). According to a local sergeant a fight was expected on the seafront so even all the off-duty coppers arrived in uniform to "enjoy themselves" (I've bowdlerised his words). He was a bit put out because he could not go down there to help sort out the yobs. Obviously they did well! Announced today, another copper did well by removing a citizen from the gene pool; he was alledgedly so stentorian in his comments and actions towards the woman that she died from heart failure.
