I am aware that Simon D'Arcy made it on to the big screen alongside Russell Crowe. Congratulations.

Who else has made it onto tv or onto the big screen?

As has this one

If you "search" (top right) D'Arcy, you will find several links.

I know what you mean except it was the small screen each time. I do think a few in the list were pretty "iffy" whilst the host included some equally worthy names who were not there.

The host of mine was Bob Monkhouse, a living legend at the time (1984)

A friend from CH saw it and went through directory enquiries to track me down. My parents had moved house to a different number in the same road and the operator gave her my parents number (unusual name so a good bet that it would be family) and my sister answered the phone. We did meet for a drink and it turned out we lived about 3 miles from each other, but I was just pregnant and I think she was about to be married and we lost touch again.

It has been repeated a couple of times on satellite/cable and each time someone has commented.

AH ! ---- it is so long ago, and whenever one of "My" films appeared on the late late night movies, my children (Now 57 and 52 !) would exclaim

"Dad ,Dad, -- that was the WORST film ever made !!" ----- it didn't matter which.

Early seventies 2nd and 3rd XV wing threequarter Roger Allam had a substantial part in The Queen starring Helen Mirren.

Followers of Ashes to Ashes on the small screen would have seen him playing Superintendent Mackintosh ("Mac") in Series 2.

He also appears in the political comedy The Thick Of It.
