The Blue on line
The new 'Blue' website is online. It only has this year's edition but will soon have back dated copies plus music from the school. As such it is still 'in development'.
In the medium term we hope to also host photographs taken at events at the school as soon as they happen.
Hope you like the site and most importantly enjoy reading about what we get up to at school now.

JR, shouldn't you be out terrorising footballers somewhere in leafy Surrey, instead of teasing respectable members of the community?!

Blame the weather !!!
I got a phone call at 10:00 this morning to notify local referee's that they may be required to do pitch inspections.
Our game in Dorking was called off at 11:30, along with a lot of others in the Surrey/Kent/Sussex/Essex areas.
It's all 'Health & Safety' now as far as a frozen or part frozen pitch is concerned. In this age of 'Kompensashun', a player could technically sue a referee/League Official if he gets injured on a frozen pitch which the referee/League Official deemed fit to play on !
..... and I speak as a Club Safety-Officer.
So, whilst there's no 'footy', I can sit on here and have a larf !

Opens in Google Chrome but the flash thing won't open, so it is no good.
Won't try IE? on principle.

Re: The Blue on line
I couldn't get it to work in IE either but I assumed that was just personal incompetence and if I waited long enough one of you clever people would come up with the solution! JR, as someone has observed elsewhere on this forum, I am not sure that this country is really a place worth living in any longer - even our national sport is not safe from the ravages of Elfnsafety. To think that we used to have to play hockey in all weathers, even when it was too foggy to see where the goalposts were, and we survived 'more or less' to tell the tale!

Re: The Blue on line
I seem to remember that until about 1963 the Hertford girls didn't even wear batting gloves when playing cricket, until someone (possibly Jane Hayward) got a digit broken. (no jokes about bouncers please)
