This was taken in 1977, 5 years after leaving school, the hair was longer at Uni.
I can see the resemblance.

I'm afraid not, but it could inspire me to launch my own calendar or to do odd things with ducks!

Alan Titchmarsh = 'Man at C&A'! I remember a clip from 'Ground Force' in which he was having a disagreement with another presenter.

"We're not at home to Mr. Rude" was his (serious) comment.

Oh dear.....

That cat was a con. The bl**dy cat rescue people saw me coming!

We had got 4 cats from them, 3 healthy and 1 who was in need of palliative care for her last few weeks.

We went back a little later to pick up some medical records for one of the healthy ones, and they introduced us to the cat in the picture.

"OMG that is the uglist cat I have ever seen!" I exclaimed.

"Yes, she is very old and a real house cat" they told us.

"I see, is she OK with other cats or around a dog?"

"Never seen her near a dog, but she hates most other cats it seems" They replied, as Morgana hissed at a passing tabby as if to prove the point. "Would you mind taking her as I don;t think we have any chance of rehoming her. Most people want a younger cat after all"

"OK," I stupidly said, thinking she was another palliative case.

That was 3 and a half years ago, during which she has learned to open fridges, open containers such as Flora and Phillidelphia, terrorised all our other cats, out lived one german shepard and beaten up out new german shepard puppy. I was had.
In a little place in our hearts we never leave
